BROCK LESNER TO FACE HEATH HERRING AT UFC 87: SEEK AND DESTROY!

It has been confirmed that UFC 87: Seek and Destroy will feature former NCAA wrestling champion and WWE Superstar, Brock Lesnar facing off against Heath Herring (28 -13, 1 no contest). Heath will be stepping in to substitute for Mark Coleman who had to withdraw from the fight due to an injury.

Lesnar, coming off a loss in his debut against former UFC champion Frank Mir, is eager to get back in the mix and prove he has what it takes to attain championship status. Heath Herring is an eleven year veteran of the sport and looks to spoil Lesnar’s plan of reaching the upper echelon of UFC’s elite anytime soon.

The PPV will take place at the Target Center in Brock Lesnar’s home state of Minnesota. In addition to this heavyweight match up, the card will feature a lightweight clash between Kenny Florian and Roger Huerto, and the headlining Welterweight championship between Georges St-Pierre and Jon Fitch.
